Our Story, Mission and Values
The Cora Project began as an effort during the ongoing search for Cora, a missing tabby cat from Wigan. Led by a registered Volunteer Scan Angel, we provide rapid, free microchip scanning and support for lost pets within 10 miles of Wigan. Our mission is to reunite pets swiftly and compassionately, specialising in timid, bunker pets often overlooked by others. Rooted in community spirit, we value transparency, empathy, and commitment to pet safety.
