Details About the Sighting (The most important part to help us verify if it’s our missing pet)
- Which missing pet have you seen?
- e.g., Cora, Buddy, Hank, Lisa, Mika, Gump, Bob etc.
- Date of the sighting:
- Date pet was last seen
- Time of the sighting:
- Morning / Afternoon / Evening / Night or exact time if known
- Exact Location:
- Please be as specific as possible – e.g., House number and street name, nearby landmarks, local park, farm, or area description (e.g., "Rear of shops on Chorley Avenue" or "Near Ince stables, High Lane"). Postcode is very helpful too.
- What did the animal look like?
- Brief description – any markings, colour, size, condition (e.g., "looked thin", "fur was scruffy"), or any distinguishing features you noticed.
- Did you notice any behaviour?
- e.g., "Seemed scared", "Was eating food left out", "Was with other cats", "Approached me for attention".
- How long did you see the animal for?
- e.g., A few seconds, a few minutes, longer.
-Supporting Evidence (Images and footage are the best way to confirm a sighting)
- Do you have any photos or videos?
- This is extremely helpful for us to check markings and features.
- If you have footage, was it from CCTV or a. mobile phone?

- e.g., "I’ve seen this cat a few times in the last week", "I fed it and it came back the next day", "I know of other people in the area who have seen it".

- Urgency: If the animal is in immediate danger or has been injured, please call us directly on 07403134292 rather than using this form, so we can act immediately.
- Guidance: Please do not attempt to catch or chase the animal, as this may scare them away. Just observe carefully and report what you have seen.
